4. Escalation steps

1

Grievance Officer

First port of call. Email neha@soonicornventures.com or use the in-platform form. Most grievances are resolved at this level.

2

Compliance Officer / Investment Manager

If you are not satisfied with the response, escalate to legal@soonicornventures.com referencing your grievance number. The Investment Manager (Nucleus AAR Advisors LLP) will review and respond within 7 business days.

3

Trustee

For matters not resolved at IM level, you may escalate to MITCON Credentia Trusteeship Services Limited, the Trustee of the Fund, via the contact details published on their website.

4

SEBI SCORES portal

If your grievance is unresolved after 30 days, you may file a complaint with SEBI through the SCORES portal (opens in new tab) (SEBI Complaints Redress System). SCORES is a free online mechanism for investors to lodge grievances against SEBI-registered intermediaries, including AIFs.

5

SEBI ODR / Smart ODR

For disputes not resolved through SCORES, the SEBI Online Dispute Resolution mechanism — smartodr.in (opens in new tab) — provides time-bound conciliation and arbitration.

5. Scope & record-keeping

This grievance redressal mechanism covers complaints regarding (without limitation):

  • Onboarding and KYC outcomes.
  • Commitments, drawdowns, payments, unit issuance, and distributions.
  • Disclosure documents, statements, and reports.
  • Conduct of pitch calls and content shared on the Platform.
  • Privacy, data protection, and security incidents (see also Section 6).

All grievances and their resolution are logged in our compliance register and retained for at least 7 years, as required by SEBI and AML record-keeping rules.

6. Data-protection grievances

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, complaints relating to the processing of your personal data may be raised with the same Grievance Officer. If unresolved, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational, in addition to SEBI's mechanisms above.

7. SEBI investor charter & SCORES

SEBI requires every AIF to publish an Investor Charter setting out investor rights, the services provided, and timelines. The Soonicorn Angel Trust-I Investor Charter will be published on this page at launch and updated whenever SEBI updates its template. You can independently verify our SEBI registration at sebi.gov.in (opens in new tab) using Reg. No. IN/AIF1/23-24/1338.
